The WYO Film Festival is thrilled to announce the complete lineup of films for its 8th annual event, taking place October 2–5, 2025, at the historic WYO Theater in downtown Sheridan.
This year’s festival features a bold and diverse slate of stories from around the world, alongside a strong showcase of regional and Wyoming-made films. With more screenings, events, and visiting filmmakers than ever before, the 2025 festival continues to build on its reputation as one of Wyoming’s premier celebrations of independent film.
Stories That Move Mountains
From powerful feature-length documentaries to inventive short films, the lineup spans genres and voices that challenge, inspire, and entertain. Attendees can expect stories of resilience, innovation, and imagination, highlighting both new voices and established filmmakers.
The festival kicks off on Thursday, October 2, with the Opening Night Documentary Feature, Remaining Native, and continues throughout the weekend with daily screenings, Q&As, receptions, and special events designed to connect audiences and filmmakers. The full schedule of events will be available online at the end of August.
Tickets & Passes
Passes and individual screening tickets go on sale August 25th, at WYOFilmFest.org. Attendees can choose from options that provide access to the full festival experience—including all films and events—or select tickets for individual screenings.
