The WYO Film Festival will reveal its 2026 lineup during a special event on August 1 in Sheridan. To help us introduce and promote your film at the event, please submit the following materials as soon as possible:

• A downloadable film trailer or teaser
• A high-resolution digital film poster or key art

Please provide downloadable links through Google Drive, Dropbox, Vimeo or a similar file-sharing platform. Earlier submissions are greatly appreciated and will give us the best opportunity to include your film in the reveal event.

Please use the form below to submit your film information, press materials, production stills and exhibition file. By submitting these materials, you acknowledge that the WYO Film Festival may use the provided trailer, poster, stills, film description and press materials to promote the film and the 2026 festival.

Filmmaker participation in the WYO Film Festival is an important part of the festival experience for our attendees. Please complete the following form to let us know if and who from your film will attend in addition to your travel plans. If you need help in making airline reservations, we will be happy to assist you. This form should be submitted no later than August 31, 2026.

Lodging

The WYO Film Festival in partnership with our hospitality sponsor, The Best Western Sheridan Center, is proud to provide lodging accommodations to participating filmmakers.

• Complimentary lodging is available during the official festival dates, October 1–4, 2026. Lodging outside of those dates is the responsibility of the filmmaker.
• The WYO Film Festival will reserve accommodations on your behalf. Please complete all requested information in the lodging section of this form so we can provide the hotel with accurate guest names and stay details.
• Lodging is subject to festival approval and room availability. The festival will confirm your reservation details directly once accommodations have been finalized.
• Any additional rooms, room upgrades, extended stays, or changes requested after the reservation has been confirmed may be the responsibility of the filmmaker.
• If your travel plans change or you are no longer able to attend, please notify the festival as soon as possible so the room may be released.
• Filmmakers who prefer alternate accommodations are welcome to make their own arrangements. We are happy to provide recommendations; however, the cost of alternate lodging is the responsibility of the filmmaker.

Travel Info

For those traveling by air, the Sheridan County airport normally has two daily flights from Denver International Airport serviced by United Airlines. The flights are small and fill up quickly. Please use the form below to submit your travel itinerary before August 31st.

Fest Badges

The WYO Film Festival will provide VIP Filmmaker badges to participating filmmakers and crew associated with the film so you may take part in all screenings, events, and parties during festival weekend. Limited Travel Assistance

A limited number of travel stipends may be available to help participating filmmakers offset the cost of attending the festival. Assistance is available by request on a first-come, first-served basis and is not guaranteed.

Filmmakers seeking travel assistance should contact Breton Shepherd as soon as possible with the name of their film, who plans to attend, their anticipated travel costs and the amount of assistance requested. Requests will be considered based on availability of funds.
